Political stakeholders, youth leaders, community representatives, dignitaries, and supporters across Kwara South converged at Onome Allure AATC Hotel, Abuja, on May 5, 2026, for the unveiling of the It’s Youth O’Clock Movement, an initiative championed by Chief Engr. Dr. Sola Ajimati.

The event, which also coincided with the celebration of his Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Foxford, Canada, highlighted his commitment to youth inclusion, leadership development, and community advancement.

Speaking at the gathering, Chief Engr. Dr. Sola Ajimati emphasized the importance of involving young people in governance and decision-making processes, describing the youth as the driving force behind societal growth and innovation.

According to him, the *It’s Youth O’Clock Movement* is designed to create opportunities for young people through mentorship, empowerment, engagement, and active political participation across Kwara South and beyond.

The event drew the participation of party stakeholders, business leaders, youth groups, friends, and family members who commended the initiative and described it as a step toward fostering inclusive and people-oriented leadership in the region.

Representatives of the BABA 2027 Young Ladies Vanguard, including the National Coordinator, Secretary, and Strategic Coordinator, were also in attendance. The group applauded Ajimati’s consistent support for youth and women inclusion in leadership and political activities.

The conferment of the honorary doctorate degree was described by attendees as a recognition of his contributions to leadership, community service, and human development.

The gathering concluded with renewed calls for unity, youth participation, and sustained developmental efforts across Kwara South Senatorial District.
