APC holds Stakeholders Meeting in Ifelodun LG, Advocates Unity

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government convened at the Idofian National Secretariat in Kwara State on February 26, 2024. The strategic meeting was a significant step towards fostering peace, unity, and charting a course for the progress of the party.

The discussions centered on crucial issues such as promoting development within the APC in Ifelodun and mitigating factors that could potentially lead to divisions within the party. Stakeholders unanimously highlighted the importance of countering external threats aimed at disrupting the unity of the party.

The representative of Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, conveyed AGF’s belief that unity is paramount for the party’s progress and urged all members, irrespective of age, to collaborate closely.

The acting Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Prince Rasaq Owolabi Olatayo expressed sincere gratitude to the stakeholders for their active participation and valuable contributions to the progress of the party. Acknowledging the challenges faced by the party in recent months, he emphasized that such hurdles are inherent in any organization where diverse ideas are exchanged. He underscored the importance of upholding respect for the party and its constitution.

Looking ahead, the acting chairman urged all APC members in Ifelodun to unite, placing the progress of the local government and region above personal interests. He reiterated the party’s commitment to inclusivity and called for collective efforts to elevate Ifelodun to greater heights.

“I will reiterate further that the party is still very big and accommodating to everyone of different backgrounds, creed, ideology or religion. Let us come together to lift our Local Government to the enviable height,” he concluded.

Key attendees included the Representative of Hon. AGF Salahuddeen, Representative of Hon. Owolabi Razak, Kwara APC Youth Leader; Hon. Suleiman Lawal Duduyemi, stakeholders across Ifelodun Local Government, Local Government party Executive, Ward Chairmen, and Women Leaders.
