Earlier today, dated December 15, 2023, the Kwara Progressive Media Organization (KPMO) has unveiled the new leadership team that will be guiding the organization to the next phase of its voyage.
The unveiling of new leadership took place during their press briefing of the organization at APC secretariat, GRA, Ilorin the Kwara State capital.
The Chairman, Transition Committee of KPMO, Mr. Lukman Abdulquadri Olarewaju made the announcement of new leadership while delivering the speech at APC secretariat in Ilorin.
The newly announced leadership are Beki Moshood Abdulquadri as Convener, Alabi Wanchiko Oluseun as Gen. Secretary, Ashaolu Samuel Funmilayo as Director of Finance, Adeleke Adebayo as Director of Contact and Mobilization, Usman Hassanat Nasikat as Welfare Director and Ibrahim Tunde Ajadi as Publicity Secretary.
The speech reads;
These individuals have been chosen through a transparent and democratic process, reflective of our commitment to upholding the values of KPMO. We believe they will carry the torch of our organization with diligence and integrity.
As we witness this transition, it’s essential to acknowledge the remarkable role KPMO played in the recent elections, advocating for the re-election of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and supporting the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Our dedication to conveying the commendable achievements of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration remains unwavering.
I want to extend my gratitude to the outgoing Convener, Usman Lade, who has been appointed as the Commissioner for Water Resources and the Supervising Commissioner for Youth under Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s government. Additionally, Nafisat Buge, our former Director of Finance, has been nominated as a commissioner, reflecting the caliber of young leaders associated with our organization.
To the new executive team, I implore you to embrace the vision and integrity that KPMO stands for. Your role is crucial in continuing our mission to enlighten the public about the people-friendly policies of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and fostering unity between the people and their government.
May this new chapter be marked with success and accomplishments. I extend my best wishes to the newly appointed leaders of KPMO, and I pray for a tenure filled with achievements and prosperity.

However, the new KPMO executives in their appreciative speech commended the unwavering efforts of Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for his continuous support, and for appointed two of our former Executives; Usman Yunusa Lade and Musa Nafisat Buge to the State Executive Council.
They further gave kudos to the transition committee for the smooth and fair transition process, adding promised to try their possible best to represent and take KPMO to a greater height.
