Hon Mubarak Bello, the SA Student to the Governor of Kwara State along side the leadership of NAKSS led by her National President, Abdullahi Abdulquadri Wakili, the leadership of NANS led by the Public Relation Office, Comrade Abdulgafar Issa paid a working visit to the Kwara State University, Malete.

Hon Mubarak said in his speech that the main reason for the visitation is to ascertain the level of government input in the school in respect to student and Staff welfarism, Basic infrastructure in the school and also to get briefs on area of needs of the institution in order to continue to pursue a common interest for all and sundry.

He further assured the students living in campus hostels that have not been enjoying good electricity light and water in their various hostels that all they lack has been recorded and promised them the positive outcome after he discuss it with the relevant authorities.

Prof Sheikh Lukman Jimoh, the acting Vice Chairman also added that our request are numerous and uncountable to itemize, our needs are accreditation of some courses, provision of electricity which will decrease the cost spending on diesel and so on, saying all our needs had been tendered initially to the government and waiting for their outcome.

He, however appreciated the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his support so far towards making learning easy for the students.

The students represented by SUG President of Kwara State University also gave kudos to the government for the provision of good and reliable roads in the campus and outside the campus.

The Acting Vice Chancellor Appreciated the SA for paying them a visit and also giving them an opportunity to interact better.

The high calibre people present in the meeting were the Acting Vice Chancellor, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Admin, the Registrar, the Bursar and others.
