Rear admiral Sunday Abiodun Olukoya (rtd), a Former Military Governor of Ondo State is dead at the age of 72.

He passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness

He was Governor of Old Ondo consisting current Ondo and Ekiti States between 1989 and 1992.

He took over from Commodore Olabode George, who handed over to Chief Bamidele Olumilua.

Family source said funeral arrangements will be announced later.
