A former member of the House of Representatives and hopeful for the Kwara South Senatorial seat, Hon. Barr. Gbenga Peter Makanjuola, has congratulated Muslims across Kwara South and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a felicitation message released to commemorate the festival, Hon. Makanjuola described Eid-el-Kabir as a season of sacrifice, faith, obedience, and compassion, urging Muslims to reflect on the noble virtues demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

He called on the Muslim Ummah to continue to uphold the values of peace, unity, tolerance, and love for one another, stressing that such virtues are necessary for national development and harmonious coexistence among citizens.

The former lawmaker also prayed for Allah’s mercy, blessings, and continued guidance upon the people of Kwara South and the nation as a whole.

According to him, “As we celebrate Eid-el-Adha, may Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices and reward our acts of worship. May this sacred season bring peace, joy, and renewed hope to every family and our dear nation.”

Hon. Makanjuola further encouraged Muslims to remember the less privileged during the celebration and to celebrate in moderation and gratitude to Almighty Allah.
