The Executive Chairperson Moro Local Government, Hajiya Mariam Abdulwasiu Omotayo today paid courtesy visit to the newly Posted Commander of the 22 Armoured Brigade Nigerian Army, Sobi Barracks Ilorin, Brig-Gen Ezra Bawa Barkins.

The purpose of the visitation is to foster collaboration between the local government and the Nigerian Army on how to curbe crimes across Moro local government especially at various Military checking points and strategic border areas of the local government.

The Chairperson also stressed that, as the chairperson of the host local government of the Army barrack she will give necessary support to the Nigerian Army and also ensure synergy between the army and other security apparatus in Moro local government.

The Commander who is the 23rd commander of 22 armoured brigade Nigerian Army, Sobi barracks appreciated the chairperson for the visit and hoped for effective collaboration with the local government.
