Hon. Bamigbade Beatrice Oluwasheun, an APC Chieftain in Idofian Ward I of Ifelodun Local Government, has put smiles on the faces of the aged and widows in Idofian Ward I through a cash empowerment initiative.

More than 350 households benefited from the generous support of Hon. Bamigbade Beatrice, who has previously aspired for the House of Assembly seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Omupo Constituency, Ifelodun Local Government.

According to her, the cash empowerment is part of her commitment to the community, reflecting the love and support of Kwara State Governor, His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

She described the Governor as a true leader who has played a vital role in the development of Kwara State, adding that her initiative is a way of supporting his efforts and the APC leadership by reaching out to the aged and less privileged.

The Ward Chairman, Mallam Abdulrasheed Shittu, praised the initiative as a well-done job, appreciating her timely support to the people during the festive season. He assured her of the ward’s continued support and recognition.

One of the beneficiaries, Jaiyeoba Joseph, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture, noting that the financial support came at a much-needed time and would go a long way in easing their burdens.
