Hon. Nasiru Arisekola Suleiman has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bandit attack in Oke-Ode, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, on Sunday morning, which claimed several lives, including brave forest guards and residents of the community.
In his condolence message, Hon. Nasiru described the incident as a painful and regrettable tragedy that has thrown the entire community into mourning.
He commiserated with the bereaved families, praying Almighty God to grant the departed eternal rest and give their loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the safe release of those abducted.
While condemning the attack, he assured that government will not abandon the victims’ families at this difficult moment.
He emphasized that necessary support would be extended to them and that the administration remains committed to strengthening security to prevent further occurrences.
“At this trying time, let us remain united and resolute in defending our land from the menace of banditry. The sacrifices of our fallen heroes will not be in vain, and together, with the support of government and security agencies, lasting peace will be restored to our community,” Hon. Nasiru stated.
