IEDPU hails Governor’s support

…..assures of Skills Acquisition Centre’s timely completion

Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), the umbrella sociocultural organisation of the good people of Ilorin Emirate, has again applauded the consistent fraternity and support of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.

The National President of the Union, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, made this commendation on Thursday while acknowledging the release of the sum of the funds pledged by the Governor towards the completion of the Union’s ongoing Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Skills Acquisition Centre in Ilorin.

Alhaji Abdulmalik said that the Governor’s gesture is a confirmation of his patriotic desire to ensure the rapid transformation of the State as he recalled that the Governor had extended support to similar ongoing projects in Shonga, Edu Local Government Area and Igbaja in the Ifelodun Local Government Area.

The Union said that the release of the money and other gestures of Mallam AbdulRazaq have gone a long way in convincing her of the Governor’s patriotism.

The President added that the Governor has always been supportive of the Union before and since his assumption of office in 2019.

Alhaji Abdulmalik assured the Governor and other indigenes of Ilorin Emirate that the Union would ensure the judicious execution of the project with a view to getting it delivered and put to use in six months time by special grace of Allah.
