The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko, contesting Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal constituency, has lauded the service of the Nigerian military on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd independence for remaining resolute in defence of our national unity, and finding peace and prosperity for our country.

Hon. Aluko, in his independence day message to Nigerians, also charged the citizens, particularly the young people, with the spirit of patriotism, hard work and resilience, and support for the leadership of the country, saying at this time of our lives, all hands must be on deck for us to have the country of our dream.

“We applauded the efforts of the Nigerian military in keeping the country united and ensuring it remains a strong, prosperous, and united country where peace reigns supreme.”
