The Alumni members of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, headed by the National President, Mrs. Sanusi Oluwatoyin Abimbola, held an inaugural meeting yesterday, 28th of March at the Gym Hall of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.

The meeting was held for the official inauguration of various committees set up for the planning and preparation of the proposed 50th anniversary of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.

Mrs. Sanusi, in her opening remarks, acknowledged the presence of her co-national executives and also the attendees of the inaugural meeting. She appreciated them for their time and encouraged everybody to be dedicated to the tasks given to them.
According to Mrs. Sanusi, the proposed anniversary will be held by September 2024, and it will be a 3-day program featuring a lecture, an award presentation, and a prayer session for the school.
The National Secretary of the Alumni Association of KWCOED, Comrade Adekanye Adewale Joel, handed over the letter of appointment to each member of the committees appointed, and he encouraged the chairman of each committee present in the meeting to relay letters to their absent members.
Mr. Ahmad Sabi Kazeem, the relations officer of the college, gave a closing remark and used the opportunity to encourage the selected committees to be diligent in their activities and make use of the limited time they have before the proposed month.
