Hon. Fadipe expressed his gratitude to Almighty God, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the state party Chairman Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi, and all APC executives, elders, stakeholders, women, and youth for their unwavering support and for entrusting him with the party’s candidacy for the upcoming local government elections on September 21, 2024.

In a gesture of goodwill, Hon. Fadipe also thanked his fellow contestants in the APC Local Government Congress for their sportsmanship and brotherly love. He called on all members to set aside differences and work together for the progress of Oke Ero Local Government. “Our contest was hard-fought, with nine of us vying for the flag bearer position. Now that I have emerged as the winner, I urge us all to come together in the spirit of sportsmanship. There is no victor or vanquished, only a united front for the progress of our dear local government,” he said.

Hon. Fadipe acknowledged the congratulations he received from well-wishers, emphasizing that the victory belongs to God Almighty and the entire good people of Oke Ero Local Government Area. He also reached out to those who may still harbor disappointment, urging them to join hands in building a united and inclusive administration.

“Our local government’s rotational convention has brought peace and tranquility to our environment, and I assure you that my administration will be inclusive and carry everyone along. Let us accept the verdict as an act of God, who gives power to whom He pleases,” he stated.

Looking ahead to the campaign, Hon. Fadipe expressed confidence that the APC will soon release campaign guidelines and called on everyone to unite as one family to achieve a landslide victory, as is the tradition of the party.

“We are one big family from Imoji/Ilale/Erinmope Ward in Ekan-Meje District of Oke Ero Local Government Area. We have wined and dined together in love. Let the brotherly and sisterly love continue,” he added.
