MMSS holds 8th Annual Quranic graduation ceremony

Ealier yesterday, June 26, 2024, the Muslim Model Secondary School held a Quranic graduation ceremony for their students whom have successfully completed and mastered the recitation pof Holy Book (Quran) at their school premises in Idi-Ori near Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

The school, over the years of establishment has maintained the teaching of both Western and Islamic eduction and had graduated the set of series students.

The program kick-started at exactly by 11:30am with the opening prayer by Shiekh Waliyullah Aliyu Kamaldeen.

Shiekh Waliyullah in his opening prayer explained the importance of teaching people quran, saying its rewards is very huge here and thereafter.

He further prayed for the founder of the school that may his soul rest in the most perfect peace and may Allah continue to garner to him the reward of teaching people Quran.

Abdulhakeem was delivering his speech during the program warmly welcomed the high calibers presence, distinguished
guests and other attendees for gracing the 8th edition of Quranic Graduation Ceremony of Muslim Model Secondary School, adding that the ceremony ought to have taken place June 12, 2024 but rescheduled due to unforeseen factors.

“We are graduating seventeen students that have been certified by Quran teachers in charge to have completed and mastered the recitation of the Holy Book (Quran) and will be given certificate of completion”, he added.

However, each graduands were called out to read from the Quran and they were all performed more than their parents expectations with their unique candy and beauteous voices”

Therefore, Justice Anafi Gere in his words charged all parents to force their children not to only know how to read the Quran but using the words in it in their daily routines, saying the reward of reading Quran is a divine rewards and may we not loose it when God is rewarding the readers of Quran.

He further prayed for late Justice M.A. Ambali who lay this ever-rewarding foundation that may God continue to reward him and effaced all his misdeeds, and grant him paradise.

On the roll of attendance were Hon Justice Issa Ayo Salami, Alhaji Babatunde Yahaya Agbojulogun, Sheikh Waliyullah Aliyu Kamaldeen, Shiekh Abdulqodir Ojuekun, Imam Adam Olarewaju Jamiu from Sheria court, Shiekh Zakariyau Abdulqodir, Proprietress, Dr Funmilayo Zainab Ambali, Directress Ayo Pharmacy, parents of graduands and others.
