Kwara as a state is indeed blessed with charitable and philanthropic individuals whose unflinching contributions have been impactful thereby serving as a progressive catalyst towards the enhancement and development of indigenous Kwarans.

Mall. Mohammed Brimah (Oko Arugbo), Chairman Mo’Brimah Foundation, the former GM of KWASSIP and former Special Assistant to the Vice President on Internally Displaced Persons IDPs from 2015-2019 as well as former Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation in the office of Vice President has again extended his act of philanthropy towards the aged and less privileged constituents in his community through the Mo’Brimah foundation by disbursement of cash stipends to support them.

Mall. Mohammed Brimah who earned the cognomen, Oko-Arugbo following his numerous interventions cum innovations while serving as the General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programs (KWASSIP) alongside his foundation, has once again proven himself as a lover of the masses and the less privileged as he concludes the disbursement of cash benefits to aged and less privileged constituents of his community in Ilorin South LGA and Ilorin East LGA of Kwara State.

His recent thread of philanthropic gestures has attracted widespread commendations far and wide as it rarely occurs having an individual go to such length of charity and philanthropy without seeking any political position.

The cash benefits which were disbursed through his foundation were in a bid to suppurt the sustenance and livelihood of his constituents by aiding them in their various individual recurrent expenses in lightof the current economic challenges being faced.

Mo’Brimah has also lauded the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mall. AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman for recognizing his passion and field of experience in the Humanitarian and Social sectors which led to granting him the immmediate past opportunity to serve humanity in Kwara State as a whole.

He expressed his profound satisfaction towards the level of achievements being recorded while he served as the GM of KWASSIP which eventually earned him the cognomen Oko-Arugbo.

He however implored other able and capable members of society to emulate the act of giving back to the society which in turn will pave way for the eradication of poverty from the typical Nigerian society.
