MOK Foundation Sponsors 10 Beneficiaries for two months Tech Courses

In a bid to bridge the digital divide and empower individuals from underserved communities, the Foundation For Community Development (MOK Foundation) has sponsored a cohort of beneficiaries to pursue tech courses. This initiative aims to equip participants with cutting-edge skills in technology, enhancing their employability and potential for innovation.

The sponsored tech courses cover a range of areas, including product management UI/UX, data analysis, digital marketing, Front-end web development, back-end web development, artificial intelligence machine learning, and cybersecurity. Beneficiaries will have access to expert instructors, state-of-the-art resources, and a supportive learning environment. This opportunity will not only enhance their technical knowledge but also foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. The full tuition fees and transport expenses were fully covered by the MOK Foundation.

Speaking at the venue​ the executive director of MOK Foundation, Mr. Lawal Temitope Saheed reechoes the vision of the foundation in making sure that everyone counts, Mr. Saheed advises the beneficiaries to make good use of the foundation, and he reiterated the commitment of the MOK Foundation in making live better for all.

“We believe that technology should be a tool for empowerment, not a barrier,” said Mr Nurudeen Muhammad. “We’re thrilled to support these deserving individuals and watch them thrive in the tech world.” we urge them to make good use of this golden opportunity, he concluded.

The foundation’s sponsorship has opened doors for individuals who may have otherwise been excluded from the tech industry, Mr Kolawole Lawal the acting managed One Innovation hub Offa alluded. As they embark on this learning journey, they will gain the skills, confidence, and network to succeed in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Speaking to our reporter at the venue, ​Abayomi Afewz Olalekan a beneficiary said “ I am happy for this life-changing opportunity, I have learned a few aspects of tech, and I will make good use of this opportunity provided by the MOK Foundation to learn Backend Web development, may the foundation continue to succeed “
