The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued call-up letters for prospective corps members in the 2026 batch ‘A’ stream II.
The scheme announced the development in a poster shared on its official X account on Monday, indicating that deployment for the batch has been released.
The release comes days after NYSC announced the timetable for the orientation exercise.
According to a statement signed by its spokesperson, Caroline Embu, the orientation course will begin on April 22 nationwide.
“The Orientation Course will commence with reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, and end at midnight of Friday, 24th April 2026,” the statement read.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for April 24, while the orientation exercise will run until May 12.
The scheme also advised prospective corps members to prioritise their safety while travelling, warning against night journeys.
“Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it’s 6.00 pm… and continue the following morning,” it stated.
