A frontline aspirant for the Kwara South Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Olalekan Adewoye, has felicitated with the Elese of Igbaja, His Royal Majesty Oba Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo III, on the occasion of his 98th birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Prince Adewoye described the revered monarch as a symbol of wisdom, peace, dignity, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Igbaja land and Kwara South at large.

The APC chieftain commended the monarch’s fatherly role, devotion to unity, and consistent efforts towards preserving the rich cultural heritage of the people, noting that the royal father remains a source of inspiration across generations.

According to him, the Elese of Igbaja has continued to distinguish himself as a traditional ruler of remarkable honour and influence whose contributions to community development, peaceful coexistence, and youth advancement have left enduring legacies in the lives of many.

Prince Adewoye further prayed for the monarch’s continued good health, strength, long life, and more prosperous years on the throne of his forefathers.

He added that the reign of the royal father would continue to usher in peace, prosperity, and greater development for Igbaja community and Kwara South in general.

“Today, I join the good people of Igbaja, friends, associates, and well-wishers across Kwara State in celebrating a revered royal father, His Royal Majesty, the Elese of Igbaja, HRM Oba Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo III, on the occasion of his 98th birthday anniversary,” the statement read.
