Igbomina Youth Assembly, a leading socio-cultural youth group under the leadership of Engr. Jimoh AbdulRasheed Temitope wishes Igbomina indigenes home and in the diaspora a prosperous new year and prays that 2023 be a better and more prosperous year than 2022.
The President said while speaking at the Assembly’s National Secretariat, Igbomina House, Ganmo that “On behalf of all of us at Igbomina Youth Assembly, I wish all the sons and daughters of Igbomina as well as distinguished lovers of Igbomina a genuinely happy new year. I pray that all our heart desires be achieved in this brand new year 2023.”
The President however stressed that the year 2023 is indeed a delicate one because of the forthcoming general elections scheduled to hold on February and March 2023.
He further pleaded to all Igbomina youth to shun any act of hooliganism before, during and after the elections, adding that they should be a good example to others. He implores the teeming youth not to allow politicians to use them to play bad political games because Igbomina people are not only well-known for being industrious but also well recognised for being peace-loving and accommodating.
In furtherance, Engr. Jimoh advised Igbomina people, especially the youth to inculcate and exhibit the spirit of patriotism and nationalism against all odds as this will spur them to stand tall anytime the opportunity to assume the mantle of leadership arises in the nearest future.
Finally, the President appreciates all members of the Igbomina Youth Assembly at home and in the diaspora and the Assembly’s numerous partners for their unflinching support towards the growth and development of the Assembly, Igbomina land and her people over the year. He hereby urges everyone not to relent because the Assembly would be needing more of your precious suggestions and feedback which would spur us to do more and achieve more towards moving Igbomina Youth Assembly and Igbomina land to Greater Heights.
