The Kwara State Government, through the Office of Hon. Muka Ray, Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, had earlier today organized an End-of-the-Year Family Fun Fair to celebrate the festive season with the people of Kwara State. This event was held at the Kwara State Amusement Park in Unity Area, Ilorin, the event showcased the administration’s commitment to promoting culture, entertainment, and community bonding under the leadership of Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

The event also featured exciting activities such as a dance competition, games, and opportunities for networking, ensuring there was something for everyone. Children were especially delighted by the Frozen-themed Bounce Castle, where they spent hours of endless fun. Additionally, delicious food and drinks were freely shared among the kids and other attendees.

The fair continued with vibrant performances, live entertainment, and interactive activities that drew people of all ages including a dancing competition among the kids and even the parents that attended. Among the highlights of the program was a thrilling Apala musical display by the legendary Musiliu Haruna Ishola (King of Apala Music), which had the crowd swaying to its traditional rhythms.

Hon. Muka Ray and veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta joined the fun, displaying energetic dance moves in appreciation of the music and Kwara State Governor for the opportunity.

Comedian Baba Kamo, a proud Kwara native artist, kept the crowd laughing with his rib-cracking jokes while expressing gratitude to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for prioritizing the happiness of the people. Ibrahim Chatta echoed this sentiment, commending the governor for creating such a joyful occasion for families and children and he mentioned that he didn’t expect less from the people’s government.

Hon. Muka Ray also presented prizes and gifts to kids, to further enhance the festive spirit of the gathering and the celebration of the end of the year.
