“In the spirit of Arafat Day, we have come to identify and celebrate with you on this joyous occasion, we are quite aware that some of you might fast as dictated by the Prophetic Sunnah, hence, we brought some items such as a variety of fruits, water, toiletries among others as a gift to you”, the SOI President told the inmates while addressing them.
Intellect Dr. Alabi also reminded the inmates not to forget the reason that led them to the custodian center and pick up lessons therein while also using the sacred day of Arafat to move closer to Allah and pray for a positive turnaround in their lives so that once they are set free, that they would lead a normal life afterward.
