The Kwara Civic Catalyst, in partnership with Afon Youths, recently held a press conference to formally call on Sulaimon Lekan Gadaff to contest for the House of Assembly seat representing Afon Constituency.

The group said the call is based on their confidence in his competence, strategic approach, and commitment to public service. According to them, Gadaff has remained closely connected to the grassroots, consistently engaging with community members to understand their needs.

They highlighted his contributions across Asa Local Government Area, noting that his interventions include the repair of boreholes in several communities, distribution of food items to the elderly, and provision of instructional materials to school children.

The group also pointed to his investment in education, including the organisation of summer lessons and the award of scholarships to about 30 children after each session.
Speaking further, the youth described his potential candidacy as a turning point for the constituency, expressing optimism that his leadership would bring renewed focus on development and youth-oriented initiatives.
They added that his emergence would ensure more strategic and people-driven representation at the state assembly level.
The group, while concluding their appeal, called on the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to support the move, reaffirming their loyalty to his administration and its vision for the state.
They expressed confidence that supporting credible and community-driven individuals like Gadaff would further strengthen development efforts across the constituency.
