Oloriegbe pays inspectional visit to the construction site of NHIA, NAFDAC Zonal office in Ilorin

The Senator representing Kwara Central and Chairman of, the Senate Health committee at the National Assembly, Sen. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has today, paid an inspectional visit to the construction site for the North Central Zonal Office of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) and, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

The construction projects of the NHIA and NAFDAC Zonal offices which were facilitated by the Senator were aimed at improving the standard of operation of the two agencies in Kwara State as said by the lawmaker.

This was disclosed by the Lawmaker during an inspection visit to the construction site of the individual agencies in Ilorin.

Sen. Oloriegbe while briefing the newsmen in Ilorin about the development at the NHIA construction site, emphasized the numerous anticipated advantages attached to the project upon completion, thereby, expressing his satisfaction with the level of work done so far.

“I am very pleased with the level of work done already on this project. The NHIA project is 60% completed, while the NAFDAC Project is 90%. He said.

“We are getting ready to move the workers in so they enjoy the facility. The facility will enable them to function well in the state thereby increasing their rate of productivity. Kwarans have the right to perfect healthcare.

“I was aware of the existence of an office but it’s very small and not comfortable for the workers. This prompted me to utilize my position as the Chairman of the Health Committee at the Senate Chambers to facilitate and embark on this project.”
